Recorded on the Corridors Of Power tour, ROCKIN' EVERY NIGHT: Live In Japan is a hard-hitting selection with exceptional guitar playing. With ex-Lone Star singer John Slowman sharing lead vocals, Gary was on fantastic form - some of his solos are incendiary and the pace only really lets up with "Sunset" (an instrumental found on Cozy Powell's album Tilt). Highly recommended if you like the heavier side of Gary's hard rock phase.

The song "Sunset", which had been a staple of Moore's live setlist since 1980, is dedicated to the late Randy Rhoads, who had died several months prior. It was finally recorded in studio in 1982, for Cozy Powell's Tilt album. Keyboardist Don Airey had previously recorded and performed with Rhoads in Ozzy Osbourne's backing band during the Diary of a Madman tour.
