Coming from an undisclosed mid-European country, Grimovetust emerges from the depths of darkness in 2025. Its sole architect, known only as Grimovetust, has never revealed his true identity, nor has he ever performed live in this form. Some say he is not new to black metal scene, having performed in other bands, but nothing has been confirmed. Grimovetust is a raw, unyielding monolith of classic black metal, steeped in a pervasive atmosphere of ancient dread and cosmic desolation. The production is intentionally old-school with a cavernous, distant feel that evokes the sensation of listening to a forgotten ritual unfold in a windswept, ruined churches.
