LIVING LOUD is the self-titled debut album by the hard rock project Living Loud, formed by bass guitarist Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake in 2003. Album was released on 22nd June 2004. Both men had previously recorded with Ozzy Osbourne, writing and recording on the Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman albums. Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes and Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse were also part of the project. Keyboard player Don Airey, who also worked on Osbourne's albums with Kerslake and Daisley, recorded his parts of the album at his home studio in London. Half the songs were originals and half were covers from Osbourne's first two albums, which Kerslake and Daisley had co-written. The project was instigated by Daisley who had discussed with Kerslake the possibility of re-doing some of the songs from the classic rock albums that they had co-written. So this is the album to quote from the sleeve is in no way any kind of retaliation to what the Osbournes did to the originals. In August 2003, Bob Daisley, Lee Kerslake, Jimmy Barnes and Steve Morse recorded the album in Florida. Along with the Osbourne songs, the group also wrote five new tracks. While Steve Morse and Don Airey were touring Australia with Deep Purple that year, Living Loud played two live shows, one at the Metro in Melbourne, and one at Fox Studios in Sydney. The latter event was recorded and released on DVD in 2005.

A great line up of musicians. Doing a mix of their own songs and Ozzy Osbourne numbers. The latter is not particularly appealing but it works. Well with the exception of "Over The Mountain". Rather listen to this album than any of the Ozzy versions. Despite being a superb and technically gifted guitarist Steve Morse is far superior to any of the widdly guitarists that Ozzy had he also is more song oriented and shows it here by his not over-playing. Surprisingly good. DEBUT CONCERT: LIVE SYDNEY FOX STUDIOS, 2004 includes a bonus documentary, In The Name Of God (film clip), TV ads showcase and album release and photo gallery. The DVD is 90 minutes, All Code/PAL and 2.0 PCM Stereo.Great musicians usually equal great music! This does not fly in the face of that concept. This is a surprisingly good effort. Good blues-tinged rock played by some legendary players. Take a gamble and buy this. This is a SUPERGROUP !!!
