Digitally remastered edition of this 1977 album from the Canadian Rock legends. BTO Live - Japan Tour is an album containing live recordings from a 1975 Bachman-Turner Overdrive Japan tour concert. It was only issued in Japan and Canada. This is the FIRST TIME EVER on CD. This release a must for all fans of Classic Rock.

Limited to a single slab of vinyl during an epic era of double live concert recordings, what Bachman-Turner Overdrive's Japan Tour recording lacks in duration and the intense "Not Fragile", is made-up for with the inclusion of a bad ass extended run through "Don't Get Yourself In Trouble". Randy Bachman introduces the A-side closing cut with cool fretboard work, which gives way to the ten-minute show of BTO force and C.F. Turner's gritty, take-no-shit vocals. The burly boys from the Great White North divided and conquered when they hit the Budokan stage. By '76, Bachman-Turner Overdrive's studio output was on the slide, but the gear-jammin' group still delivered from under the bright lights. Despite lackluster sound quality, the Japan Tour LP is fun Friday night spin. Let it roll... Japan Tour opens with the foot-to-the-floor "Roll On Down The Highway", followed by the early-era "Hold Back The Water" and the touring inspired "Welcome Home". The five-minutes-for-roughing concert recording from Tokyo is filled out with the pavement-pounding "Four Wheel Drive", the nine-to-five "Takin' Care Of Business", the loose "Slow Down Boogie" and the closing "Thank You - Domo". LET IT RIDE!
