If you're expecting John Lee Hooker to be sitting in with the Santana Band (as the title implies), you've come to the wrong place. This is actually a 1985 concert radio broadcast of John Lee Hooker and his Coast-To-Coast Blues Band with Carlos Santana sitting in. Carlos is all over the recording but not in an overwhelming sense. The sound is not bad; about what you would expect from a radio broadcast. That aside, it sounds like it was a great concert. Not sure if there are any live JLH/Coast-To-Coast releases out there, so that is another reason to own this disk. Enjoy!
