For ten long years, it is already here that Popa Chubby released a live album. This double live album includes hits from Popa of Booty And The Beast to his anniversary CD I'm Feelin' Lucky. The 27-song live work of Chubbfatha was in March 2015 recorded in France during his I'm Feelin' Lucky Tour on which he was accompanied by a great team. As a special treat, there is an impromptu mini-set of the band with some Rolling Stones classics. A definitive live release of 55s guitar heroes from NYC!

Popa Chubby (Ted Horowitz) has been playing blues rock for more than two decades. In October of 2014 he released I’m Feelin’ Lucky, and then did an extensive tour supporting that CD. Three shows he performed in France in March of 2015 were recorded, and those recordings resulted in his new two-disc live album, BIG, BAD AND BEAUTIFUL. Popa Chubby tells us in the CD’s liner notes that these tracks contain no overdubs and nothing added in post. Most of these songs are originals, but there are a few cool covers. There is a lot of music here, and plenty of good blues jams. It has been ten long years since Popa Chubby released a live album. And yet, his live shows CD’s have been his most successful, so far (Live At FIP and Electric Chubbyland) because he is always at his best when performing on stage. NYC Blues Rock Journeyman Popa Chubby is set to release a 27 track double live CD on Dixiefrog Records. This is a career defining live release for the 55 year old NYC guitar slinger and Popa unleashes a can of Blues Rock whoop ass that will be sure to shake up your world.
