Flipping extraordinary, this! In the sixties Marc Bolan gigged with a bongo player called Steve Took, and they called themselves Tyrannosaurus Rex. They were very obscure and hardly known outside of hippy 'underground' circles. Now it emerges that someone had the presence of mind to record some of their live concerts, and although the sound quality ain't great, it's a real gift for fans of early Bolan stuff. This recording showcases just how talented these two were.
