Released in 1997, it documents the original 1970s run of the band before the 1977 Convair 240 crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, pilot Walter McCreary, and co-pilot William Gray. 30 shots of Southern rock on two CDs in a double slimline jewelcase featuring artwork that resembles the label from a Jack Daniels whiskey bottle. The ultimate collection: all the original studio versions of all of their MCA hits, including 'Free Bird', 'Sweet Home Alabama','Simple Man', 'Workin' For MCA', 'Call Me The Breeze','Saturday Night Special', 'Gimme Three Steps', 'Gimme BackMy Bullets', 'What's Your Name', 'That Smell', 'I Know A Little' & 'You Got That Right'. * The album is released by Repertoire Records out of Hamburg, Germany. It is only available in the United States as an import.
