Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac were Britain’s finest blues band. Releasing three seminal albums before breaking up. This double CD of classic Mac - one of famous (and rare) studio recordings and another of fierce live performances - marks the band’s 50th ANNIVERSARY. Great rocking blues! What a total numpty! This is a great collection of Fleetwood Mac’s recordings from the days when they featured the brilliant Peter Green as well as the excellent Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer. Peter Green is by far the best electric blues guitarist the world has ever heard, and yes, and enjoyed all those classic guys that influenced him. A great soulful singer too. The blues is all about feeling and on all of his recordings with Fleetwood Mac Peter Green had it in spades. It would be a shame if the ignorance displayed in the other review put anyone off discovering this great band. Don’t hesitate, if you love the blues, you won’t find any better than this. They could rock as well. Wonderful stuff. If you like the early stuff you’ll love this one. Recommend!
