LIVE IN STOCKHOLM is a 1987 live album by hard rock guitarist Gary Moore, recorded live on 25 April 1987 at Isstadion, Stockholm, Sweden, during the tour in support of the album Wild Frontier. The sound track was recorded and mixed by Nigel Walker. The tour had the valuable contribution of drummer Eric Singer, who recently had left Black Sabbath.

Wild Frontier (1987) was Moore's homage to traditional Irish music, and was partially prompted by the Self-Aid benefit concert for Ireland's unemployed. 35 years ago, Gary Moore played in Stockholm with Neil Carter, Bob Daisley and Eric Singer. Night was an unforgettable one for many Swedish friends. Fortunately NFL films recorded it (what a great job they did!), and later that autumn in 1987 EMI/Virgin released it on VHS. For Gary Moore fans it is the absolute highlight of his rock period, and without a doubt one of the greatest melodic hard-rock concert videos of all time. If these guys' band was called Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or The Rolling Stones, today we have a beautiful release of this magical concert. Instead of it now we can watch the youtube videos or the old VHS version if you still have one. Anyway, it's not about the media formats. This music means a lot for many people, because it was the one met with Gary's fantastic music during the summer of 1988. Now this released on CD. Thank you Gary, Neil, Bob and Eric for those magical moments!
