LIVE IN ITALY is a box set by Zucchero Fornaciari, released on 27th November 2008, comprising 2CDs and 2DVDs containing two performances by the singer during the Fly World Tour and the All The Best World Tour of the previous two years. In particular, the concert held at the Arena Di Verona on 23rd September 2007 and a summary of the concert held on 14th June 2008 at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium of San Siro in Milan are re-proposed, rearranged for the occasion as a sort of theater (renamed by Zucchero "San Siro Stadium Theatre"). To promote the album, the artist performed eleven concerts in Italy in the month of December 2008 alone, renamed the LIVE IN ITALY Tour. Zucchero stated that this was his first live work, but in reality there is a precedent, as he himself admitted in some interviews (in particular as a guest by Fabio Fazio on Che Tempo Che Fa, early evening broadcast on Raitre), i.e. Live At The Kremlin from 1991. However Zucchero explained that Live At The Kremilin was not intended to be released on albums, while the songs from LIVE IN ITALY were carefully selected.

The first real live by Zucchero, recorded in two of the most magic places of his world tour: The Roman Arena in Verona and the San Siro stadium in Milan. The two DVD contain images taken from these concerts and a virtual duet with Luciano Pavarotti (''Miserere''). The 2CD/2DVD set includes a whopping 39 different songs, including three songs recorded during the rehearsals for the All The Best Tour earlier 2007 years (the new single ''Una Carezza'', the cover ''Sympathy'', and a new song called ''Oro E Blues''). The collection is particularly heavy on material recorded during the 2007 Verona concerts (26 songs on the DVD), but also includes some of the songs that were only played during the All The Best Tour (such as ''Tutti I Colori Della Mia Vita'', ''Amen'', ''Wonderful Life'', ''Pippo'', ''Menta E Rosmarino'', ''Hey Man'' and the cover song ''Hi-De-Ho''). New Zucchero song “Una Carezza”, written by Zucchero, previously recorded by Zucchero’s daughter Irene Fornaciari on her album Vertigini In Fiore, and dedicated to Zucchero’s late mother Rina Bondavalli. “Una Carezza” is one of a ''series” of inedited tracks on LIVE IN ITALY, the 2CD/2DVD live collection of Verona concerts and San Siro concert. LIVE IN ITALY features material from the three shows Zucchero gave in Verona during FLY Tour, as well as from show in Milan’s San Siro stadium as part of the All The Best Tour.
