This show (or part of it) is from the Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA, USA, November 09th 1974. Frank did two shows there on the 9th November - an early show (this one), and a late show (that one featured Tom Waits guesting on one song). Great band line up. Recorded live at Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA, USA, November 9th 1974, early show (not complete). Tom Waits entered the stage at the same day in the late show. So, despite his name on front of the sleeve, he is not to be heard on this CD. Despite the name of Tom Waits 'screamed' on the cover, the singer-songwriter from Pomona does not appear on this radio CD. The mystery is soon revealed: the Californian artist went on stage with Zappa during the late show held that evening, while the one partially reproduced on this CD (ten tracks out of nineteen) is the early show. Nevertheless it's an interesting performance, featuring a drum solo and Mothers Of Invention's ''I'm Not Satisfied''.
