This 14-disc box set brings together 15 incredible years of live performances by the legendary Aussie band AC/DC. Broadcast on 14CD radio and TV. These performances show them at their blistering peak during the Bon Scott era and their resolve to continue after his death in 1980. Brian Johnson was introduced as their new frontman later that year. After several changes of drummer and a dip in popularity, they returned to commercial success in 1988 with their album Blow Up Your Video, and were also inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association's Hall Of Fame. This is the ultimate collection for any die-hard fan of the group from down under and is presented here in superb fidelity with background notes and rare images.

In the past, you would have paid a fortune at record markets for a box set like this with this wealth of radio shows. It's great that the live recordings - especially from the Bon Scott era - are now being published so extensively. Actually almost all important (US and Australian) radio shows are included, the sound quality is usually good and appropriate for the time. Of course you shouldn't expect the best HiFi sound, these are radio recordings, which were probably not all taken from "master tapes", but also from private recordings. A must for real fans. In addition to the official live albums, this box set is a nice addition to the archive. However, the BBC recordings are still missing, especially those from 1976 (Marquee Club), 1977 (Hippodrome), 1979 (Hammersmith) and the Dutch radio shows from '79.
