We look back at the History of the rock group. In 1985, Angus, Brian & Co. started the world tour for the album Fly On The Wall and also did a stop in Dallas, USA. The concert was recorded by the US radio station RCM-FM and later broadcast to American fans. This 1985 recording, recorded at The Reunion Arena in that famous city - features the band in terrific form and while right in the midst of their Fly On The Wall Tour. The set contains a classics and newer numbers, goes to prove that AC/DC were still second to none at producing a spectacular hard rock show despite the personnel changed they had been forced to undertake. From the North American tour for the album Fly On The Wall, the live performance at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas on 12th October 1985 was recorded for FM broadcast. Back In Black album, whith Brian Johnson on vocals in 1980, was an extraordinarily big hit. The follow-up, For Those About To Rock (We Salute You), was a huge hit, reaching No. One in the U.S. for the first time. However, Flick Of The Switch was not as popular and Phil Rudd was fired during recording due to a feud with Malcolm Young. The mid-80s were a dark time for the band, and Fly On The Wall, which was produced with Simon Wright in place of Phil Rudd, fell even further. A full revival would have to wait until The Razors Edge. During the Fly On The Wall Tour, serial killer Richard Ramirez was criticized as a Satanist, even by AC/DC, because he sought AC/DC's Highway To Hell as the motive for his murders and wore an AC/DC shirt and cap when he committed the crimes. The incident became even more stingy.Perhaps because of this, few live recordings from this period have been officially released, but this is a genuine live band. However, this is a genuine live band, and the potential of their performance has not diminished at all. The songs from Fly On The Wall are also rare because they cannot be heard anywhere else. However, Simon Wright's drumming style is more like Phil Rudd's, and the differences are easily noticeable, so there may be some differences in taste. Despite petty grievances from the music press, this set, which contains a staggering mix of classics and newer numbers captured at the best possible quality.
