Rare on Air live performances from the guitar heroes Jeff Beck and Steve Ray Vaughan, recorded 1984. This is the best of Beck/Ray Vaughan doing what they do best; performing live! It was recorded at the CBS Record Convention in Honolulu on February 19, 1984, although the label provides no information whatsoever regarding the source. The label only mentions SRV and Jeff Beck, but they are accompanied by Double Trouble (of course), brother Jimmie and singer Angela Strehli. A very good showcase of Stevie Ray Vaughan, legendary blues/rock guitarist/singer/composer. "Stangs Swang" is probably the favourite track. When you don't hear someone for a while you tend to forget how good they were until you hear them again and remember what a tragic loss he was to the world of music lovers, going long before his time, like Jimi Hendrix. BTW guest Jeff Back is doing a great job as well. He is on fire like ever!
