..Almost forgotten in his home country.. Tony Joe is, and always has been, a force to be reckoned with, anywhere he goes, especially abroad.. This I understand is from a session in Australia.. check out his recent Live In Amsterdam too.. We have here some amazing grooves and blues music from Tony. Why?.. well.. that voice, that laid back delivery, the cool guitar, with the exploding wah wah pedal, subtle harp on a rack around his neck.. and the only other musician on this set is an incredible funky drummer.. no Bass or Keys (there is a keyboard on the Amsterdam set.. but it's very well blended in the mix..
