Initially released as a limited edition Classic Rock Fan Pack on 3rd September 2012, this is a truly unique release that will appeal to rock fans everywhere. The album landed at newsstands on 4th September in the U.K. As part of the 40th Anniversary celebrations of Deep Purple's 1972 release Machine Head, RE-MACHINED: A TRIBUTE TO DEEP PURPLE'S MACHINE HEAD was released on 25th September 2012 by Eagle Rock Entertainment. The Classic Rock Fan Pack comes with an in-depth, official 124-page magazine which includes exclusive new interviews with world-class guitarists Joe Bonamassa and Steve Vai and the members of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Chickenfoot amongst others talking about recording these classic songs, plus brand new interviews with Deep Purple – one of the last interviews with the late Jon Lord – on the making of their most well-loved album and exclusive and previously unpublished photographs and artefacts from the Purple archives.
