Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII, the pioneering concert film directed by Adrian Maben in 1972, now appears in spectacular recast. For this purpose, the original material filmed on 35 mm was remastered and the audios of Steven Wilson were remixed. Recorded against the stunning backdrop of Pompeii's deserted Roman amphitheater, the unique music doku features an intimate Pink Floyd performance with six songs. Plus, fans at Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII can look forward to rare additional material that the band features at Abbey Road Studios at the first sessions to The Dark Side of the Moon. Parallel to the film, the album is also released, which is available on vinyl for the first time ever. The 2025 remix by Steven Wilson will appear as double CD, double LP, Bluray and DVD.
