This re-release includes not only the FUTURE ECHOES OF THE PAST two disc audio set (originally released on 27th February 2000), but also includes the DVD made at the same time and named THE LEGEND CONTINUES... This three disc set is housed in a six panel digipack with definitive artwork and bonus materials. It was released on 2nd May 2017. FUTURE ECHOES OF THE PAST was recorded from concerts on two consecutive nights in Germany in 1999. Some may view this lineup of Heep as usurpers to the throne, but they'd be mistaken. This version of the band, first unveiled on Live In Moscow, has been together longer than any other. What drives Heep to pour so much effort and energy is what drove this band from the beginning: determination and conviction in what they were doing. The set list offers a good combination of songs written and recorded by the current line up, plus favourites from the classic era. With such a wealth of supreme material in their archives, the band have developed an excellent habit of dusting off songs which have not been performed live for many a year and adding them to the set. In this case, it is good to see they all gaining a new lease of life. Many of the hardy perennials are there of course. Such songs never lose their appeal. The album closes with a sound check recording of "Come Away Melinda", a song which originally appeared alongside "Gypsy" on the band's first album. Bernie Shaw giving a wonderfully emotional performance of this classic piece. A spate of live releases renders FUTURE ECHOES OF THE PAST as something of a luxury, but fans won't regret treating themselves to a double helping of this Heep.

You, may be, thought it would be nothing more than a bunch of old farts trying to milk some extra retirement money out of a once glorious band. You couldn't have been more wrong... Uriah Heep is alive, vibrant and ready to kick some serious. One of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time plays a 30th Anniversary concert and we have this spectacular video to celebrate with them. Veteran British hard rock group Uriah Heep has seen more than their share of ups and down over the course of a career, but this live video, shot in 2000 during a concert in London, finds the band alive, well, and playing at the top of their form. THE LEGEND CONTINUES… features twenty songs. These guys may be old but their performance is really good. You will enjoy performance of one of the best bands in 70's. It is a great retrospective of the band. A sort of ''history lesson'' if you will. So grab this DVD while you can. These guys are real professionals and it's awesome to see them play. Need have to mention that drummer "Lee Kerslake" is superb in here. The feel is celebratory and the musicians appear to be enjoying themselves. This is great video.
