LIVE IN UKRAINE is a double live album and video and also last release by British rock collaboration Queen + Paul Rodgers. It was recorded on 12th September 2008 during The Cosmos Rocks Tour at Freedom Square in Kharkiv, Ukraine and was released on 15th June 2009. A companion DVD was also released. A concert movie that captured live from Ukraine before 350,000 fans was produced by NCM Fathom and Disney’s Hollywood Records. It was shown in U.S. movie theatres one night only – Thursday, 6 November 2008. Just weeks ahead of the start of the band’s 2008 Queen + Paul Rodgers The Cosmos Rocks Tour, the band were approached to help Ukraine’s Anti-Aids Foundation reach out to the youth of the country with the message ''Don’t Let Aids Ruin Your Life''. For Queen + Paul Rodgers - already well prepared for a tour opening with two nights at Moscow’s SCO arena, it would mean some drastic rethinking. Despite the seeming impossibility of it, Queen + Paul Rodgers made it to Freedom Square for the night of September 12, 2008. Over 350,000 Ukrainians came to see them play and more than ten million homes watched the show live on television. In all, more than twenty million took part in what the band recall as ''An unforgettable experience: one of those rare things in life you know you will never forget. A meeting in Music, but also a coming together to fight a common enemy''. Features the band performing hits, old and new.

In September 2008 Queen + Paul Rodgers answered a call from Ukraine’s Anti AIDS Foundation by playing a free Life Must Go On Aids awareness concert performed in Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv’s historic Freedom Square to a live audience of over 350,000 – and a television audience of more than ten million. At their Kharkiv show, Queen + Paul Rodgers performed a set of twenty eight classic tracks, opening with “One Vision” and including legendary hits such as “Another One Bites The Dust”, “I Want It All”, “I Want To Break Free”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “The Show Must Go On” and “We Are The Champions”. Now, with millions of Ukrainian citizens in need of urgent humanitarian relief, Queen’s historic YouTube special is screening again, aimed at drawing donations for UNHCR relief efforts. UNHCR has stepped up their operations and capacity in Ukraine and neighboring countries. They remain firmly committed to support all affected populations in Ukraine and countries in the region. With teams across Ukraine and in neighboring countries hosting refugees from Ukraine, UNHCR is providing protection and humanitarian assistance, including emergency shelters, repairs for homes damaged by shelling, emergency cash assistance, and protection such as psychological support, winter relief as temperatures plummet. On 19th March 2022, the film premiered in the Queen Official YouTube channel in order to raise relief funds for Ukrainian refugees, due to the country's invasion by 'russia'. More than five million dollars have been raised.
