Included are some of the band's biggest and best hits spanning from 1968 to 1991. A two disc collection, 'The Anniversary Collection' compiles releases from 1968-1974 on disc one, and releases from 1975-1991 on disc two. Re-release 2008 Includes DVD ‘A NEW DAY YESTERDAY: The 25th Anniversary Collection (1969-1994)’ of 2003. The DVD is strong on concert performance and video excerpts, especially those from the band's most successful period (the codpiece-and-minstrelsy '70s stretch that yielded hit records like Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, and Songs from the Wood), in addition to more recent items, including their rehearsals for a 25th anniversary reunion tour. DVD bonus materials feature seven of those performances (including "Teacher," "The Witch's Promise," and "Aqualung") in their entirety.
