Tony Palmer's 1969 Film about Jack Bruce.
This nearly hour-long documentary features the legendary musician Jack Bruce laying down tracks in the studio and sharing stories about his life and career as he visits Glasgow and his home on the island of Sanda. NTSC/Region 0. DVD containing a documentary from British bassist (and former Cream member) Jack Bruce. In 1970, Jack released a Jazz-orientated LP of his own compositions called Songs for a Tailor. This 55 minute film, made at the same time, takes Jack from the Gorbals, via Cream, to his island called Sanda, playing the cello, the sitar and thundering away on the organ of the Albert Hall in London, while featuring many of the tracks from his LP. With his strong socialist principles, Jack Bruce himself provides the striking commentary.
