This is Dr. Feelgood's stunning Stupidity live album plus bonus tracks such as the 7" that accompanied early copies of the LP. All together, 24 live tracks on one CD! All the early Feelgood classics are here: "Back In The Night", "Roxette", "She Does It Right" and all those prime R'n'B classics they covered. Moreover, there is a 9-song DVD filmed at the same 1975 Southend Kursaal show that most of the CD was recorded at. The DVD is PAL format, All Regions and there is an insert with photo memorabilia. The sound of the CD a little too clean - it lacks the ambiance of a good vinyl copy of the album. It was surprised by this, but I think the same applies to the DVD. Here the super clean audio doesn't quite gel with the grainy '70s footage. So by all means get a copy, it's a bargain, but perhaps feed it through a valve amp for a dirtier sound!

Since their inception on Canvey Island in the Early 70's, Dr. Feelgood has been the Ultimate Working Band. Their raw and uncompromising style of straightforward, hard-driving Rock and Roll, their love of the Blues and R&B coupled with their non stop touring has won them an ever faithful fan base. During the Mid-'70s, they led the second wave of Pub-rockers taking over from the original leaders, Brinsley Schwarz. Dr. Feelgood was devoted to edgy, Stones-influenced Rock and Roll, and their live shows - energised by Lee Brilleaux's intense singing and guitarist Wilko Johnson's leads - became legendary. In 1976, the band hit no. One in the UK Charts with their live album Stupidity - a testament to their dynamic live stage show. This DVD and CD Set features performances of all the tracks from that album plus lots more. DVD features include Dolby Digital 2. 0 and 5.1 Surround soundtracks.
