Although this album is a nice tribute to Stevie Vaughan by his friends, the album itself is only a shade above average. However, in the land of tribute albums, this is quite good. This album does include a slew of blues masters and it is entertaining to listen to the various styles that can be heard. For the most part, the covers are done with few liberties so if you are familiar with Stevie's stuff, this album will be easy listening. Every performance is solid and I cannot fault the show for that (it is live), but as most SRV fans will admit, these songs are just not the same when done by others. Also, Double Trouble provides the drums, keyboard, and bass.
