During 2011 the mighty Whitesnake embarked on one of their most successful world tours in recent times, performing 96 shows in over 35 countries, starting in North America in May right the way through until the 2nd UK run in December. The request for another live album came from the incredible Whitesnake fans, who are notoriously not shy about insisting what they want from their favorite musical reptiles. So, before heading out on The Forevermore World Tour 2011, the decision was made to record every performance on the tour. After spending the early part of 2012 editing and mixing the Made In Japan DVD the production team The Los Bros Brutalos had the task of listening back to over 90 shows and 130 hours of 100% raw, muscular Whitesnake performances. Inspired by the performances from the 9 sold out UK shows and and a further 87 performances from around the world, the CD MADE IN BRITAIN and it's accompanying CD THE WORLD RECORD was born. The album was released on 19th June 2013 by Frontiers Records. The recent Forevermore songs shine as brightly as the classic Whitesnake songs. All performed with feverish energy, encouraged by remarkably enthusiastic audiences from Newcastle to San Paolo. Once again, Whitesnake have delivered the goods that fans new and old, have been clamoring for and make no mistake, this is Whitesnake at their finest and most electrifying. Now you can relive the energy, the passion, the brilliance of a band still as resoundingly relevant today as they have ever been.

Please, Coverdale!.. Not another live album, that was you first thought when you heard that Whitesnake was going to release MADE IN BRITAIN / THE WORLD RECORD. How many times can you milk money from the faithful fans with old songs from the age of a dinosaurs? Well, you wasn't so exited when you started listening on this double album as you can see, but you have to bite myself in the tounge after the first spin on the over two hours long journey of classy hard rock. And you raised the white flag. This is two world class live albums. The new songs from Forevermore and Good To Be Bad are spicing up the dish really well. The Made In Japan disc was released and the bands line-up was complete with Briian Tichy on the drums. The guitarists are still Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach, on the bass Michael Devin and Brian Ruedy on the keyboard completes the line-up. Ohh... David Coverdale is vocalist if anyone didn't know. Coverdale is a true British gentleman and is an outstanding frontman of the band, with his small talk between the songs. ''Here Is A Song For Ya!!'' is a classic line from the 62-year old rock icon. You'll like these two albums and will most likely play them as loud as you can when you get your friends over and the beer drinking season starts (read: when the wife is out of town). A party without Whitesnake is a boring one. This is a big and nice collection of oldies and new classic rock songs from the duo Coverdale/Aldrich. MADE IN BRITAIN / THE WORLD RECORD is a great alternative to a sleepy, boring Greatest Hits album. This hungry snake is still biting and moving forward.
