BLUE’S is the fourth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Zucchero Fornaciari. It was released on 15 June 1987, with Fornaciari credited as "Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari". The success that Zucchero had experienced at music festivals in the early 1980s, including several appearances at the San Remo Music Festival, eventually attracted the attention of foreign musicians. After travelling to the United States in the mid-1980s, he returned with a new band including some American musicians and a focus on the blues. Among them was keyboardist David Sancious. The tour following the release of the album included performances featuring Joe Cocker, Miles Davis, Eric Clapton, and B. B. King. The album elevated Zucchero's reputation internationally. It became the best-selling album internationally by an Italian musician until it was overtaken by Zucchero's subsequent studio album Oro Incenso & Birra in 1989.

BLUE'S marked the definitive affirmation of the bluesman from Reggio in the Italian music scene. Considered the best-selling Italian album of that year. As revealed in book The Sound Of Sunday - The Novel Of My Life, it was conceived in a difficult period of his life: the imminent separation from his first wife Angela Figliè. The song ''Without A Woman'' was a direct consequence of this, the singer's greatest international success, also thanks to the duet with Paul Young. Or the song ''I Can't Stand You Anymore'', conceived in a fit of anger against her. The texts of ''Con Le Mani'' and ''Hey Man'' were written in collaboration with Gino Paoli, as well as that of ''Bambino Io Bambino Tu'', whose melody was taken from ''My Woman'', a song by the group Sugar & Candies, in which Zucchero played before of success. The song ''Pippo'', on the other hand, refers to an old friend, nicknamed "Pippo", who, aware of the singer's sentimental situation, courted the latter's wife, aggravating the situation. The text was written together with Vasco Rossi, who then granted him authorship. As for the famous phrase "only a healthy and conscious lust saves the young from stress and from catholic action", it is a phrase that one of his geometry professors from Carrara often repeated, to which Zucchero, still a student, one day replied with "save the young man from stress and catholic action". Finally, ''Dune Mosse'' was considered by most to be the real pearl of the album, as well as one of Zucchero's songs that comes closest to the blues genre.
