Gary has been around for quite a few years, and plays the last albums full of all kinds of blues tunes, while he used to be a rock guitarist from the very beginning. Remember Thin lizzy? Yet Moore's albums are very different in quality, although they do have a lot to offer from both types of music. It actually started a bit when he recorded some stuff together with legend Albert King ('Pretty Woman'), and then he started doing more and more of these things. Songs like 'Still Got the Blues' have become worthy classics in recent years, and also renditions of 'Walking By Myself', 'The Messiah Will Come Again', which are covers, have indicated that we are dealing with a great one. Add to that the fact that people like Jack Bruce have a really big hat on him, then you know that this album is another strong example. This album shows once again that this guitarist and excellent singer does not allow himself to be pigeonholed. This album features blues rockers, but also Chicago blues and beautiful ballads, which can completely change a world with just a few notes on the guitar. Man what a touch and feel that man has just shivers all over my skin. His previous album also contained more blues stuff than usual, and this album is just pure blues from the heart, just listen to the ten minute track 'I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know' and you'll know what it's about goes with Gary Moore – pure feeling. If you think Moore is just doing his tricks on his guitar, then you'll be in a good mood, because this man can speak like a beast, but also have his guitar curbed so far that you just have to say, yeh man He's got the blues from the depth of his soul. It is incomprehensible that he has kept that blues feeling to himself for so long, but he is now mainly there to stay.
